After you create a channel, it won't be available to users until you publish it. In order to have it online, find the Settings link menu in the top to complete your channel settings. Once you have completed the minimum required fields, hit Save. 

Your channel will be then available for users to subscribe. It's recommended that you first add content to your channel, and then publish it.
