In order to guide your users through some long term organized and progressive path, you will use what we call "plans". Plans let you specify a series of weekly instructions to the user, along with a predefined set of workouts for each week. 

Users will then be able to start one of your plans from your app, and track their progress, viewing the workouts they need to complete for each week as they advance in your plan.


Plan contents

For each plan you will be able to upload also a video, and to write a description. In this case, the video is aimed to give an introduction to the plan, set goals and expectations, and do general recommendations. You will be able to give more information when you configure each of your plan's weeks.


Weeks

A plan is then divided in "weeks". For example, you may have a ten weeks program for loosing weight. You can configure then each week, adding a video and a description to introduce the week, and choosing among your previously configured workouts which ones the user should perform in the week.  


Recommendations

You can have as many plans as you want. It's a good practice to have plans for different levels of training, and also to have plans focused on different techniques, or to develop specific parts of the body.
